Web 2.0 Assignment

The three sites that I looked at were:

http://delicious.com/

http://www.mangolanguages.com/

http://imcooked.com

The one I contributed to was delicious.com. At first I didn't see the value in delicious, but the more I interacted with it, the more I realized it could be a very valuable educational tool. Teachers can help students build a delicious account full of educational links that they can access from any school computer or at home. Teachers can share bookmarks with their students when ever they find something they think would be interesting to the class and it doesn't take up class time or resources. I also liked that delicious allows you to see what the most popular bookmarked sites are so that you can see what cool websites are out there.

The bookmark sites I choose where some of the websites I frequent the most.

The other two sites I looked at were interesting. Mango Language was cool because it offered language instruction, but you either had to purchase it or go to the public library. So I didn't like that aspect of it.

Imcooked was a very fun website. I really liked how anyone could upload a cooking instruction. There are a lot of good recipes out there.
